OEM Automotive Paint - Single Stage - Aerosol Can

Single Stage: We offer single-stage paint. First off, single stage automotive paint is a type of paint coating that is exactly as it sounds… it’s a 1-step shiny paint that you can put on your car project. You can shoot the paint on in a single stage, as opposed to 2-stage paint, which requires you spraying a layer of base coat, and then a layer of clear coat. 

WE RECOMMEND: If your vehicle has any pearls or metallics in the paint color, do NOT do single stage. We recommend a basecoat and clearcoat because of the color and metallics/pearl may change and not look exact or correct. However, if you want to do single stage than that is up to you. But we cannot guarantee a perfect match.  

These cans will need to be popped prior to spraying by removing the red "button" from the cap and placing it on the bottom of can on the black bar. You will use your palm to push up and the hardener will release in the can. You will need to shake thoroughly prior to spraying. The can will only last 2-3 days after being activated. 

Important Information:

• Please note that if there is an issue with spraying from the nozzle, clean the nozzle. Paint can dry in nozzle with one use.
• There are several variants to each color, we only use standard without having a piece to match, so there may be a color variation difference. However, the color we send will be the correct OEM code.

Process of using the Aerosol can:

• Protection measures Wear personal protection equipment.
  (respiratory mask / gloves / goggles)
• Shake After filling shake can thoroughly for at least
  2 minutes from when the agitation balls are heard.
• Spray to test After shaking the can, test spray and check
  compatibility with the surface and the colour.
• Spraying distance 6 - 8 inches / 15 - 20 cm
• Spray passes Dry film thickness 0.8 mil (20 μm)
  (approx. 1 - 2 spray coats)
