Airway Buffing Wheels For Metal Polishing

Our Airway Buffing Wheels are made in the USA in our Anaheim, California facility using different mill treatments for different to create wheels of various stiffness levels to be used on different metals. Orange And Yellow are typically designed for use on aluminum while our Red and Pink treatments are designed for use on stainless steel. Our UBM and Flannel wheels are designed for a final finish and can be used for both aluminum or stainless steel. 

Orange - Aluminum Line Step 1 - "CUT" - The cut stage is comprised of the brown tripoli bar T-88 (T-121 Fast Cut for humid environments) as our recommended compound bar coupled with an orange cutting buff. This stage should help bring a cloudy surface to a fairly bright reflection. Recommend an RPM of approximately 3000-3500 for cutting

Yellow - Step 2 "Color" - By utilizing our preferred green rouge with a yellow coloring buffing wheel, a darker and more luminous reflection will develop. Recommend running the coloring stage with an RPM of 2800-3200

Red -  Stainless Line Step 1 - "CUT" The cut stage is comprised of the black magic bar as our recommended compound bar coupled with a red cutting buff. This stage should help bring more heat from a cloudy surface to a fairly bright reflection. Recommend an RPM of approximately 3000-3500 for cutting

Pink - -Step 2 "Color" - By using our yellow deluxe compound bar with a pink coloring buffing wheel, a darker amd more luminous reflection will develop on the stainless surface. Recommend running the coloring stage with an RPM of 2800-3200

White - STEP 3 "SHOW FINISH" - Competition purple it has a super fine abrasive compound that when paired with a domet flannel buffing wheel produces the finest show polish. Recommend an RPM of 1200-1800
